Includes a solution to England’s problem with penalties, I see.
I know that’s tongue in cheek, but there’s a real point there: the first thing to note about penalties is that they thrust players used to the company and comfort of a team game into the football equivalent of the Mastermind chair. If only two players could cooperate during shoot-outs (the blooper reel would be worth seeing)..
